David H. Correll

David H. Correll, 71, of Cedar Falls, died Friday, July 24, 2015, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. David was born March 29, 1944, in Cedar Falls, the son of David C. and Virginia E. (Philpot) Correll. He married Pamela A. Prouty on December 19, 1970 in Davenport, Iowa. David was a 1969 graduate of the University of Iowa Law School. While he was in private practice, he also was the Black Hawk County Attorney from 1973-1983. In 1975 David joined Correll-Sheerer-Benson-Engels-Galles & Demro Law Firm, retiring in 2013. David is survived by his wife, Pamela Correll, of Cedar Falls and one son, David H. C. Correll, of Boston, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at Cedar Heights Community Presbyterian Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.
