In memory of Dashira Antionette Jackson born June 7, 1982 at Allen Memorial Hospital at 4:32 PM to mother, Yevette Marie Redd/Johnson and father, William Jerry Jackson Jr. Dashira departed from this life on June 1, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.
Dashia left behind 4 children: adult son, Na'Quandis (Makenzie Shearon) Moore, and adolescent children daughter, Zarriha Stevens, sons, Carmelo & Zavier Stevens; grandchildren, Ka'Miya and Kaimir; other half and father of her children, Christpher Stevens & Nathan Moore; siblings, brother, Detrone Redd of Waterloo; sisters, Lucretia Redd of Waterloo and Shivette Redd of Waterloo; grandparents, William Jerry Jackson Sr. and Ann Jackson both of Waterloo; special friend to Dashia, Rachel Bumgarner; also as a father, Reginal Rick Montgomery.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Ky'Zair Moore; grandmother, Annie Lee Redd of Waterloo; grandfather, Freddrick A. Johnson of Waterloo; grandmother, Fayrine Daniels/Jackson of Waterloo; uncles, Maharrum Johnson of Waterloo and Curtis Leon Redd of Randolph.
Dashira was a loving mother and had a big heart that would help everyone from the heart, she always gave her last. She had a great personality, and a hard worker. Dashira cared about people in general, this is why she went into the medical field. She worked at Western Home in Cedar Falls as a CNA, Walgreens Pharmacy Assistant, later graduated from (UMA) Ultimate Medical Academy in Clear Lake, FL. She also worked at Ravenwood Nursing Home for three years and then Cedar Falls Community Health Rehabilitation Center. Her hobbies included: painting, knitting, reading books and of course loving doing activities and trips and vacations with her children and loved her mother's cooking.
Dashira was a very special angel God called back home so she can share her heart & love with other ones. In heaven, bless you all.
