DARWIN E. FULLER was born October 26, 1946 at Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Vern B. and Maudie Belle (Carpenter) Fuller. He served in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War from 1966 to 1970. Darwin married Barbara J. Cox July 26, 1971 at Waterloo, Iowa. He retired from John Deere & Company on December 31, 2001. Darwin died Monday, April 22, 2002 at his home in Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 55 years.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Waterloo, Iowa; one son, Benjamin Fuller and two daughters, Tammy Weisenberger and Debra Bergen, all of Waterloo, Iowa; two grandchildren, Sedonna and Sevannah Weisenberger and one step-grandchild, Nick Bergen; two brothers, Sylvester Fuller of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Russel Fuller of Kissimmee, Florida and two sisters, Gladys Fitzgerald of Peoria, Illinois and Beverly Yarrington of Buckingham, Iowa. Darwin was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services were 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2002 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
