DAROLD A. "DYNAMITE"
JONES, 65, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at home of natural causes on Thursday, May 4, 2006. He was born August 10, 1940 at Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Arthur Henry and Ethel (Brogue) Jones. Darold married Patricia L. Woolsey on September 18, 1964 at Finchford, Iowa. She preceded him in death on September 15, 2004. Darold was a graduate of Finchford High School and worked at John Deere & Company in Waterloo for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
Survivors include his daughter, Dawn (Rick) Chase of Dewar, Iowa, three grandchildren, and his mother, Ethel Jones of New Hartford, Iowa.
Darold was preceded in death by his wife and his father.
Memorial services were Monday, May 8, 2006, at the Western Home Chapel, with private inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. A memorial fund will be established.
