DARLENE A. KANFIELD, 51, of Hudson, Iowa, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iowa City, Iowa. She was born October 19, 1954 in Osage, Iowa, the daughter of William E. and H. Jeanita (Baker) Virchow. Darlene was a veteran, serving with the U. S. Navy.Survivors include her son, Justin Kanfield, of Hudson; her mother, H. Jeanita Virchow, of Waterloo, Iowa; and her sister, Vicki J. (Tom) Bicket, of Reinbeck, Iowa. Darlene was preceded in death by her father.
Memorial services will be 10:30 am Monday, August 7, 2006, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, where military honors will be conducted by Hudson AMVETS Post 82. Memorials may be directed to the family.
