Butch liked to spend time on the acreage with his dogs and take ranger rides to patrol the neighborhood.  Above all else, he loved his family and never missed his grandchildren's activities.  When health no longer allowed, he would proudly watch videos of their events and/or get phone calls from the kids giving him play by plays.
