Dale Hughson

Dale Hughson, 57, of Cedar Falls, died, Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. He was born June 24, 1959, the son of Robert L and Joan M. (Leehey) Hughson. Dale married Sue Golinvaux June 28, 1980   in Cedar Falls. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School in 1978. Dale was owner operator of D H Wash Solutions Inc and worked as a Midwest Distributor for Standard Change Makers. He was a very selfless and generous man.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sue Hughson, of Cedar Fall; two daughters, Rachael (A J) Weieneth, of Waukee, Iowa and Kristie (Travis) Goedken, of Marion, Iowa; five grandchildren, Charlie and Ben Weieneth, Ava, Trent, and Lexie Goedken; his mother, Joan Hughson, of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Paul (Jennifer) Hughson, of Burnsville, MN and Scot (Tracy) Hughson, of Farmington, MO, and one sister, Lora Mohling, of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Gail Hemenway.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 26 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
