Dale C. Boike

Dale C. Boike, 79, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo.

He was born December 5, 1937 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Christopher and Frieda ( Belz) Boike. Dale married Donna Watkins January 20, 1957 and they were later divorced. He married Kathy Plummer. He graduated from Cedar Falls High School and attended Union Apprentice School. Dale was an electrician for 27 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of IBEW and a former member of Cedar Falls Gun Club, Rambling Wheels, and NCOWS.

Dale is survived by his wife, Kathy Plummer, of Cedar Falls; one son, David Chris (Debra) Boike, of Fayette. Iowa; one step son, Todd (Julie) Plummer, of Waterloo; one step daughter, Julie (Brian) Miester, of Cedar Falls; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, five step grandchildren and one step great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald Lee and Harold Boike.

Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral with visitation one hour before services. Memorials may be directed to the family. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
