Daisy M. Wildebour, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, June 24, 2018, at Western Home Communities Thalman Square. She was born February 4, 1927 in La Porte City, Iowa, the daughter of Clayton and Edna (Keller) Fike. Daisy married Bennie Wildebour on February 8, 1946 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2002. Daisy attended school in Dunkerton, Iowa and was in procurement for Walgreens for 14 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Cedar Falls Gospel Hall and its Mission Fund. Daisy loved her family, gardening and baking.
She is survived by her son, Allen (Anne) Wildebour, of North Liberty, Iowa; her three daughters, Benita Brown of Waterloo, Iowa, Sharon Grawe of Marion, Iowa and Debbie (Steve) Wieland of Okeechobee, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and her sister, Wanda Keesler, of Charlotte, Michigan.
Daisy was preceded in death by her parents and husband; five brothers, Cecil, Kenneth, Leo, Eugene and Richard Fike; four sisters, Elsie Appel, Mary Hanson, Joann Middlebrooks and Arlene Rahe; a grandson, Brian Brown, in infancy, and two sons-in-law, Richard Brown and Glenn Grawe.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the Cedar Falls Gospel Hall, with burial at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be 4—6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service Thursday at the Gospel Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Gospel Hall Mission Fund. Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
