CLEONE L.
EVERS, 77, of Cedar Falls died Friday, December 26, 2003 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was born March 7, 1926 at home in Mount Carmel, Iowa, the daughter of Frank & Emma (Damm) Steinkamp. She married Rollin Evers June 17, 1947 at Arcadia, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2002. Cleone died Friday, December 26, 2003 at Sartori Memorial Hospital at the age of 77 years.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Evers and his wife Carol of Mason City, Iowa and Doug Evers and his wife Jill of Kokomo, Indiana; a daughter, Renee Evers of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Elisa Anne Evers, Jay Douglas Evers, Jeffrey Paul Evers, Ryan Grover Evers, Nathan William Evers and Kristen Renee Evers; a brother, Melvin (Bernice) Steinkamp of Arcadia; and three sisters, Leota (Harold) Eich of Ogden, Iowa, Jean Wernimont of Atlantic, Iowa and Neva Wittaker of Orange, California and a special companion, her dog Anna Marie.
Cleone was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers.
Memorial services were 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. A memorial fund will be established.
