Cleone Adams

CLEONE ADAMS, 69, died at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home on Thursday, December 30, 2004. She was born, September 16, 1935, Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Hubert V. And Ellen M. (Flynn) Bean. She was a teacher associate at River Hills School, retiring in 1999. She married Joe Adams, May 2, 1975, in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Cleone is survived by her husband, Joe, of Dike, Iowa; two sons, Michael (Sabrina) Hayes of Denver, Iowa and Scott (Trudy) Sweet of Cedar Falls, Iowa; one daughter, Sherri (Jeff) Rogers of Dewar, Iowa; two step children, Becky (Gene) Kriz of Aplington, Wisconsin and Alan Adams of Nevada, Iowa; five grandchildren, Jeff Heidemann, Carrie Avila, Alyse and Melanie Hayes and Zachary Sweet; five step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.

Cleone was preceded in death by parents, one son, Martin Hayes, one sister, Bea O'Neill and one brother, Harold W. Bean.

Memorial services were Monday, January 3, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls.  Inurnment will be at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Dike, Iowa. Memorial may be given to the church.
