Clark R. Miller, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, February 21, 2011, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. He was born September 27, 1922 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Earl W. and Ruby (Smith) Miller. Clark married Rosemary M. Byers June 16, 1951 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois. He graduated from Finchford High School in 1940 and attended Gates Business College. Clark served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a supervisor with the Cedar Falls Post Office for thirty-three years, retiring in 1978. Clark was a member of NARFE, a very active member of  Gideon's International and First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemary Miller, of Cedar Falls; one son, Kent Miller, of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Karen (Steven) Wohlwend of Bettendorf, Iowa, Kay Miller of Waterloo, and Karol (Boone) Vuletich of Cody Wyoming; five grandchildren, Brandi Nenow, Neil Leitz, Scott Cutler, and Gregory and Michael Wohlwend, and three great grandchildren.

Clark was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Vicki Miller; two brothers, Ralph and Claude Miller, and one sister, Genevieve Miller.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 25, 2011, at First United Methodist Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Military Honors will be conducted by Cedar Falls AMVETS Post # 49. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 24, 2011, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.
