CLARA ELLEN HENRY,
79, of Cedar Falls, died at home on Thursday, December 15, 2005. Clara was born December 11, 1926 at West Union, Iowa the daughter of Herman & Julia (Barnhouse) Boyer. She married Dick Owen Henry August 17, 1947 at West Union. Clara was a Dietary Aid at the Lutheran Home for 15 years, Nurse's Aid at Schoitz Hospital for many years, had farmed with her husband for many years, and was a Senior Home Companion for 15 years.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Carol) Henry of Titusville, Florida, Michael (Diane) Henry of Medicine Lodge, Kansas and Mark (Jill) Henry of Center Point, Iowa; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two brothers, Stan (Barb) Boyer of Janesville and Everett Phillips of Fairport, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Travis Henry, and two sisters, Ruby Boyer and Beatrice Bettencourt.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at Greenhill Baptist Church with burial at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, West Union, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the church.
