Christie M. Greenlee

Christie Marie Greenlee, 69, of Cedar Falls, died Monday,, October 8, 2018 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo. She was born September 11, 1949 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Earl E. and Lucille (Boudreau) Russell. Christie married James Greenlee February 8, 1975 in Flint, Michigan. She did home day care for 30 years and then  worked as a sales associate at Von Maur for 14 years, retiring in 2018.

She is survived by her husband, James Greenlee, of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Anna Mae (Tim) Stegeman, of Libertyville, Ill., Shawn (Justin) Lee, of Crystal Lake, IL, and Ashley (Brandon) Priem, of Dyersville, IA; nine grandchildren;  four brothers, Kevin (Christine Rodgers) Russell, of Buckley, MI, Kerry (Patty) Russell, of Flushing, MI, Kent (Linda) Russell, of Moncks Corner, SC, and Kurt Russell, of St. Louis, MO; seven sisters, Denise (Tom) Bretzke, of Benzonia, MI, Gayle(Dennis) Renwick, of Rapid City,  MI, Diane (Stan) Smith, of Middletown, IN, Maureen (Jeff) Schlott, of Indianapolis, IN, Donna Russell, of Flushing, MI, Mary Anne (Nate Smith) Russell, of Flushing, MI, and Paula Shaw, of Saginaw, MI.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers in law, Chuck Shattuck and Phil Shaw.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. Services and burial will be next week in Elgin, IL. Memorials may be directed to the charity of donors'  choice. Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
