CATHERINE JO MILLER, 88, of Oelwein and formerly of Cedar Falls died Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Oelwein of natural causes. She was born July 27, 1914 at Egg Harbor, Wisconsin the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Hoover) Kroll. She married August "Ed" Miller May 25, 1945 at Brownwood, Texas. Ed preceded her in death January 7, 2001.
Survivors include her son, Tom (Marge) Miller of Hazelton, three grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one sister, Pauline Desmond of Hudson, Iowa. Jo was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Nancy Miller, four brothers, Frank, Al Edward and Peter Kroll, and two sisters, Mary Matzke and Ann Seiler.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford.
