Caroline Eunice Slaughter

Caroline Eunice Slaughter, 55, of Cedar Falls, passed away peacefully at Pinnacle Specialty Care on Tuesday, November 19, 2024.  She was born in Waterloo on March 9, 1969, youngest child of Dale and Lois (Singleton) Slaughter.  Caroline attended River Hills Schools and performed in many North Star drama performances.  She was a prankster who enjoyed keeping her care providers on their toes.  Caroline loved to sing and dance without any inhibitions.  She was happiest when doing crafts – scissors, construction paper and glue would inspire her creative side.  Caroline was physically strong and knew what she wanted from life.  She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dale R. Slaughter and Jeffrey Slaughter.  She is survived by her brother, John (Laura) Slaughter of Rockford, Illinois; sisters, Linda Moore of Waterloo and Mary (James Ackles) Slaughter of Cedar Falls; sister-in-law, Jen Slaughter of Union; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Caroline's Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial at a later time at Greenwood Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to North Star.
