Carol J Oliphant

Carol Jean Oliphant, 76, of Hudson, died at home Sunday, February 28, 2010.  She was born December 29, 1933 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Sackett) Oliphant.  Carol was a secretary for several businesses for many years.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Rossow of Prairie City, Iowa and Dawn (Tracy) Shulka of West Union, Iowa, a son, Lynn Rossow, of Waterloo, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and a sister, Dolores (Jim) Good, of Janesville, Iowa.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara MacLennan.

Graveside committal services were Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Elmwood Cemetery in Waterloo.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
