Carol Jean Jaquith

Carol Jean Jaquith, 81, of Waterloo, died Monday, November 30, 2020, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo.  She was born November 18, 1939 in Cedar Falls, IA, the daughter of Myron C. and Lucille M. (Anway) Creighton.  Carol married Robert "Bob" Jaquith in November of 1972 in Waterloo.  He preceded her in death on January 29, 2018.  Carol was a 1958 graduate of Finchford High School in Finchford, IA.  She was a dental assistant for both Dr. Ball and Jessen in the 1960's and 1970's, and a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker.  Carol enjoyed roller skating for many years and spending time with her dog "Baby".  She was sustained by her faith throughout her life.

Carol is survived by her two sons, Tony Macheak of Indianapolis, IN and Darren Macheak of Waterloo, and her brother, Darrell (Jean) Creighton, of Cedar Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a son, Michael Macheak; a brother, Duane Creighton, and a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bion Guthrie.
