Carol Einertson

Carol Einertson, 67, Cedar Falls, passed away Sunday, August 4, 2024 of cancer at the Cedar Valley Hospice House.  She was born October 30, 1956 to Warren and Darlene Martz.  She grew up on a farm near Blue Grass, Iowa graduating from Davenport West High School and later the University of Iowa.  In 1985 she started working for Von Maur; when they opened a store in Cedar Falls she transferred there.

Carol enjoyed working in her flower beds, reading, puzzles, crafts, and watching sports – especially the Waterloo Blackhawks and Chicago Cubs.  Her latest passion was bike riding.

She is survived by her precious children, Kelsey (Chris) Post of Des Moines and Joey at home; sisters, Bonnie (Darrell) Busch of Bettendorf and Peggy (Dave) Wakeland of Eldridge and their daughters, Kristin and Lindsey and their children.  She is also survived by her ex-husband, Joe Einertson and his family.
