CARL M. MUELLER,
91, of Cedar Falls, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. Carl was born November 26, 1913 in California, Missouri the son of William & Clara (Goller) Mueller. He married Ada Marie Muller June 30, 1938 in Yorktown, Iowa. She preceded him in death September 4, 1996. Carl was a medic on a hospital ship in the Pacific Theatre in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He owned and operated Mueller's Furniture in Waterloo from 1948 until his retirement. He also owned Carriage House Furniture in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his son, Steven (Cynthia) Mueller of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; his daughter, Pamela Leahy of Independence, Iowa; seven grandchildren, and his brother, Paul (Edna) Mueller of Bakersfield, California.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one brother, Edward Mueller, and two sisters, Wilma Redmond and Martha Otte.
Funeral services were 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Nazareth Lutheran Church with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
