Carl M Danner

CARL M. DANNER, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, September 24, 2006, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. He was born April 16, 1918 in Burt, Iowa, the son of John and Stella Danner. Carl married Helen Rindels on April 13, 1939 in Cedar Falls. He worked as a machinist for 39 years at Construction Machinery Corporation in Waterloo, retiring in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Betty (Wayne) Edgerly of Blaine, Minnesota and Karla (Larry) Parsley of Waterloo; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren and seventeen great-great grandchildren;a sister, Edna Rush of St. Ansgar, Iowa; and a daughter-in-law, Carolyn Danner.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Jerry Danner; a grandson, Timothy Andersen; and three brothers and eight sisters.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Thursday, September 28, 2006, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with interment at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 pm Wednesday and one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
