Bruce Miller

Bruce L. Miller, 59, of Oelwein, Iowa, formerly of Denver, Iowa, died Monday, January 28, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City. He was born September 19, 1953 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Laverne F. and Mary (Mickey) Miller. He married Patricia Folkers on February 14, 1972 in Finchford, Iowa. She preceded him in death December 8, 2006. Bruce married Theresa Pittman on December 20, 2008 in Waterloo. He was a truck driver and more recently a fork lift operator at Waterloo Warehouse. Survivors include his wife, Theresa Miller, of Oelwein; two sons, Raymond (Florence) Miller of Denver and Robert (Rachel) Miller of Oelwein; two step daughters, Jessica (David) Mejia and Krystal Roszell, both of Oelwein; a step son, Justin Roszell, of Waterloo; nine grandchildren, and two brothers, Leonard (Sherelyn) Miller of Jacksonville, Florida and Michael (Yllanda) Miller of Orlando, Florida. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Patricia, and a sister, Mary Neubauer. Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, February 1, 2013, at Finchford Community Bible Church, with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Waterloo. Visitation will be 58:00 pm Thursday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
