Survivors include his parents, Johnny Leland Sanders & Jennifer Louise Bergmeier of Waterloo; his sister, Sofia Stephana Sanders of Waterloo, maternal grandparents, Keith & Connie Joy of Wellsburg, Iowa; paternal grandparents, Diane Sanders and Russ Bodecker of Elk Run Heights; great grandparents, Richard & Delores Folkers of Cedar Falls; an uncle, Jason Bergmeier of Waterloo; an aunt, Tonya Martin of Nashua, and many loving great aunts & uncles. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Hazel & John Myers.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with interment in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
