Riggs, 50, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, November 12, 2012, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo. He was born April 23, 1962, in Waterloo, son of Yvonne Riggs. Brian married Kathy Ashcraft on August 17, 1991 at George Wyth State Park, Cedar Falls. He was employed at Professional Office Services for thirteen years. Survived by: his mother, Yvonne Riggs, of Cedar Falls; best friend, Kathy Riggs, of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Shannon Perron, of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Cameron Perron, of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, David Riggs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Jeff (Priscilla) Riggs of New Mexico, and Craig Riggs of Florida; two nieces, Emily and Tiffany, and four nephews, Colin, Eric, Steven, and James. Preceded in death by: a brother, Todd, paternal grandparents, David and Naomi Riggs, and maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Nosko. Celebration of Life Services will be 123:00 pm Sunday, November 18, 2012, at Hartman Reserve Interpretive Center, Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family or Cedar Valley Hospice. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is assisting the family. Brian had a passion for cooking and was a devoted Chicago Bears fan. Family, friends, and dogs were the core of his heart. Brian was a supportive & loving father.
