Brenda L Mckee

Brenda Lynn McKee, 54, of Cedar Falls, died from cancer on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Windsor Nursing & Rehab Center in Cedar Falls.  She was born November 23, 1955 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of Ivan and Darlene (Rogers) McKee.  Brenda attended college and was both a homemaker and a Quality Control Specialist at Quad State Gauging and Measurement, and later at Victor Plastics, Victor, Iowa.

Survivors include her parents of Cedar Falls; three sons, Kevin (Laura) McKee of Clutier, Iowa, Dustin (Rebecca Osterloh) McKee of Montezuma, Iowa and Michael (Dusty Jackson) McKee of Grinnell, Iowa; four grandchildren, Madison and Logan McKee, Carter McKee and Brydon Henning; two brothers, Daniel (Sharon) McKee of Owatonna, Minnesota and Brad (Ashley) McKee of Newton, Iowa, and five sisters, Paula Chiri of Woodward, Iowa, Marcia (Jim Wahner) McKee of Waterloo, Iowa, Monica (John Barrington) Dean of Henderson, Nevada, Melissa (Alan) Capler of Lincoln Park, Michigan and Pam Portillo of Lake City, Iowa.

Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Brian McKee, maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Jeanette Rogers, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Iva McKee.

Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Hillside Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Visitation will be 5—8:00 pm Tuesday, May 25, and one hour before service, at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
