Bradford John Good

Bradford John Good, 78, of Dike, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at his home in rural Dike. He was born on March 5, 1947 in Cresco, the son of John and Theresa (Magee) Good. Bradford married Dixie Lee Brandt in Waterloo in March 1997. They were happily married for 15 years prior to Dixie's death on September 21, 2012.

Bradford worked as a skilled laborer for Waterloo Silo Company, Farmland, and Dyebold, retiring in 2007. He was a talented carpenter, woodworker, handyman and a skilled mechanic. Bradford built and designed two homes over his lifetime and maintained his properties himself. He enjoyed working in the yard as much as restoring old cars. He even made his own fishing lures. Bradford also enjoyed people and got along with everyone. He loved spending time with family and attending family gatherings and will be greatly missed.

Bradford is survived by his children, Patty Good, Johnny Good, Micheal Good, and Paula Monahan; step-children, Jason and Jamie Brandt; grandchildren, Trevin, Courtney, Emily, Alysia, Nicholas, Kayla, Daniel, Alley, Colby and Mona; five great-grandchildren; and siblings, Wanda Davis, Robert Good, Lamont Good and Farron Good. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dixie Good; and siblings, Dana, Dale and Jim Good.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with visitation from 1-3pm.
