Bonnie L. Rogers, 81, of Cedar Falls, died Monday, September 8, 2014, at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center. She was born October 1, 1932 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Flora (Sprague) Rogers. Bonnie was a graduate of Janesville High School and farmed most of her life. She also owned and operated Rogers Market own Hwy. 218 north of Cedar Falls for many years. Survivors include her sister, Ramona Rogers, of Cedar Falls, and many nieces and nephews, including Deb Christopher, whom she raised as a daughter and was a grandmother to Deb's children. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Verna Brown, Mable Dix and Viola Thompson, and five brothers, Frank Rogers, Jr. and Walt, Mel, Myron and Ken Rogers. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014, at Nazareth Lutheran Church Chapel, with burial at Cedar Valley Memorial Gardens, both in Cedar Falls. Visitation will be 47:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, and one hour before service at the church.
