Bonnie Miller

Bonnie J. Miller, 83, of Dike, Iowa, died Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Reinbeck, Iowa. Bonnie was born July 3, 1932, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Maurice & Mildred (Pennington) Mitchell. She married Marvin J. Miller September 27, 1957 in rural Reinbeck. Bonnie was employed at Rath Packing Company for 10 years and was also a housewife.

Survivors include her husband, Marvin, of Dike, Iowa; her son, David (Laura) Miller of Cedar Falls; her daughter, Linda Ohrt, of Reinbeck; four grandchildren, and her sister, Carol Nelsen, of Reinbeck.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Loretta Adams; and a brother, Maurice "Gene" Mitchell.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Hudson, with burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Dike. Visitation will be from 4—7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be directed to the church.
