Beverly June Paulsen

Beverly June Paulsen, 90, of New Hartford, died Friday, January 15, 2016, at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital in Waterloo. She was born March 12, 1925 in Oelwein, Iowa, the daughter of Ray and Esther (Molinsky) Beare. Beverly married Ronald M. Paulsen on May 29, 1946 in Evansdale, Iowa. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2006. Beverly graduated from Iowa State Teachers College (UNI) and was a teacher for 35 years, including a one room school house near Fairbank, Iowa, New Hartford and Waterloo School Districts. She was a member of the Lions Club Women's Auxiliary and New Hartford United Methodist Church.

Beverly is survived by her two sons, Ronald (Carol) Paulsen of Cedar Falls and David Paulsen of Waterloo; her son-in-law, Kerry Resewehr, of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren, Jo Dee Flockhart, John Paulsen, Chandra (Jeff Stark, Jr.) Bell; a great granddaughter, Leilani Stark, and her sister, Wyona (Richard) Hagerty, of Granite Bay, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a daughter, Linda Resewehr, and a grandson, Kevin Flockhart.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with inurnment at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery in New Hartford, Iowa.
