BEULAH M.
ERIKSEN, 100, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Saturday, August 7, 2004, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home.
Beulah was born November 26, 1903 at Marion, Kansas, the daughter of Nicholas and Jennie (Waite) Hett. She married A. Homer Eriksen on August 7, 1931 at Wichita, Kansas. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1976. Beulah was a graduate of Tabor College at Hillsboro, Kansas and worked in banking for ten years and later was a dining room hostess at the Cedar Falls Woman's Club for over ten years. She was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa and attended the Nazareth Lutheran Senior Luncheon for over twenty years.
She is survived by her children, Erik (Joline) Eriksen of Des Moines, Iowa, Sharon (Orrin) Gilbert of Cedar Falls and Carol (Sam) Vaughn of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, Jerome Kent Gilbert, Scott David Eriksen and Wendy Turek; and seven great-grandchildren, Amanda & Sarah Gilbert, Madeline & Meredith Eriksen, and Emma, Tessa & Hannah Turek.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband and parents; three brothers, Arthur, Norman & Orville Hett; and a sister, Edna Williams.
Funeral services were 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2004, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home Chapel. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the First Evangelical Free Church in Cedar Falls.
