Betty J Leavell
July 15, 1934 — September 17, 2008
Survivors include her husband, Carl, of Waterloo; a son, Randall (Diane) Leavell, of Motley, Minnesota; a daughter, Tamra (Michael) McClintock, of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler & Carly Leavell, Anthony, Aaron & Breanna McClintock; two great grandchildren, Johnathan & Elizabeth McClintock, and a sister, Marion "Rosie" Thompson, of Waterloo.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Charles Mitchell, and a half brother, Benjamin Clough.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday, September 22, 2008, at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, with burial following the service. Visitation will be 2—4:00 pm Sunday, September 21, at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Memorials may be directed to Visiting Nurses, Cedar Valley Hospice, First United Methodist Church-Waterloo, or The Cancer Treatment Center-Waterloo. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
