BETH ANN BADER,
63, of Cedar Falls, and formerly of Vinton, Iowa, died at her home on Monday, January 2, 2006. She was born June 25, 1942 at Vinton, the daughter of Robert & Bernice (Whitson) Parmater, Sr. Beth was a 1960 graduate of Geneseo Community School and Pitzes Beauty School in Waterloo. She was a local hairstylist and worked for over 25 years as the Coordinator of Tours at the John Deere Engine Works through Staff Management Services in Waterloo. Beth was the current president of Chapter Xi Omega of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and was involved in several local card clubs.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheryl (Doug) Dozier, of Harrisburg, North Carolina; her son, Brad (Heidi) Bader, of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Emma Dozier and Joshua & Carson Bader; one brother, Rick (Pam) Parmater and one sister, Susan Nosbish, both of Vinton; many nieces and nephews, and cherished friends.
Beth was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Suanne Bader; one brother, Robert Parmater, Jr., and her paternal grandmother, Lilli Parmater.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006, at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
