91, of Waterloo died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo, Iowa. She was born March 22, 1914 in near New Hartford, Iowa , the daughter of Samuel and Grace (Fleshner) Buss. She married Selby Jones January 7, 1939 in Monrovia, Indiana. He preceded her in death December 6, 1996.
She is survived by three daughters; Judi (Doug) Wilson of Panora, Iowa, Jennifer (Dennis) Bausman of Seneca, SC. and Joy Jones (Jim) Webster of Cedar Falls, IA; four grandchildren, Dale Wiarda, Danny Lee, Jody Wilson (Mark-friend) and Jacqueline (Tom) Gorgas; one great granddaughter, Hadie Mae Gorgas; two sisters, Carol (LeRoy) Beving of Wellsburg, IA and Maxine Wilson of Conrad, IA . Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two daughters, Janet Fluharty and JoAnn Jones; three brothers, Henry "Hank" Buss, Donald "Don" Buss and Bernette "Bud" Buss; two sisters, Tillie Marie Buss in infancy and Florence Neiman.
Memorial services were 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2006 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls. A Memorial will be established. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Fillmore Cemetery, Fillmore, Indiana.
