Berdean R Graham

Berdean R. Graham, 88, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, February 19, 2011, at ManorCare Health Center, Waterloo.  Berdean was born June 5, 1922, in Holland, Iowa, the daughter of Dick & Minnie (Johnson) Brower.  She married William Henry "Hank" Graham February 11, 1945 in Holland.  He preceded her in death August 20, 2006.  Berdean received her B. S. Degree from Drake University in Des Moines and went on to be a Primary Teacher for 32 years, retiring in 1980.

Survivors include her daughter, Jane (Dan) Miller, of Hudson; three grandchildren, Jamie and Chelsea Miller, and Troy (Lynn) Wade; and two great grandchildren, Dylan & Devon Wade.

Berdean was preceded in death by her parents and husband, her daughter, Janice Wade; three brothers, Carl, Edwin and Calvin Brower; and two sisters, Esther Aswegan and Alice Reisinger.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church with inurnment in Fairview Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls.  Memorials may be directed to the church.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
