Barbara Heyer

Barbara Elizabeth Heyer, 53, of Cedar Falls, died at her home on Monday, September 14, 2015. She was born April 8, 1962 in Hanover, Illinois, the daughter of Earl and Laura (Brown) Volquardts. Barbara married Bernard Heyer on June 22, 1996 in Cedar Falls. She was a semi truck driver for many years, a nurse's aide at the Western Home Communities and most recently worked for Bossard Inc. in Cedar Falls. Barbara is survived by her husband, Bernard Heyer, of Cedar Falls and two brothers, Earl Volquardts, Jr. of Butte, Louisiana and Evan Volquardts of Cedar Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Eric Volquardts. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2015, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls.
