Survivors include his daughter, Verna M. (Roy) Gibbs, of New Hartford; seven grandchildren, Les (Wendy) Gibbs, Jeff (Denise) Gibbs, Kim (Bill) Otte, Sara (Alan) Tholl, David (Carie) Gibbs, Lisa (Matt) Verbeck, and Jennifer (Shawn) Weber; seventeen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Meyer, of Iowa Falls, Iowa.

Arthur was preceded in death by his wife and parents; three brothers, Godfrey, Harry and Ernest Juel; a sister, Edna Greenfield, and a granddaughter-in-law, Kris Harper Gibbs.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008, at United Methodist Church, New Hartford, with interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, New Hartford. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, Cedar Falls, and one hour before service time at the church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
