Ardyce N Hansen

Ardyce N. Hansen, 90, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.  She was born May 9, 1920 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Andrew J. and Anna Helena (Nelson) Jensen. Ardyce married  Harold H. Hansen January 6, 1946 at Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death November 12, 1984. She worked at Woolworth as an assistant  manager and  later became a mail clerk at  the University of Northern  Iowa, retiring in 1977.

She is survived by one son, David (Karen) Hansen, of Andover, MN; two daughters, Dorothy (Kenneth) Boll, of La Porte City, and Cindy (Steven) Boever, of Faribault, MN; eight grandchildren, Christopher Ramsey, Adam Ramsey, Angela (William) Grobman, Cheri (Gary) Horrighs, David Hansen, Shawn (Leslie) Hansen, Thad (Annie) Soy, and Dylan Frohn; ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Ardyce was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Daniel, one daughter, Debra, two brothers, Bill and Merrill Jensen, and one sister Mildred Thode.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Nazareth Lutheran Church with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Christian Crusaders.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
