Annie Culbertson, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home. Annie was born February 27, 1925, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the daughter of Michael & Mary (Kowalchuk) Bodnar. She married Ralph Culbertson Mary 27, 1944, in Edmonton. He preceded her in death June 15, 1995.
Survivors include three daughters, Nancy (Fred) Fletcher, of Memphis, Tennessee, Mary Anne McKenzie, of Cedar Falls, and Pamela (Tom) Crane, of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; her brother, Fred (Laurette) Bodnar, of Parksville, British Columbia, and her sister, Marie Stephen, of White Rock, British Columbia.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a granddaughter, LeAnn K. Murrell; a great grandson, Raymond Myroniuk, and two sisters, Joanie DeJirdamo and Diane MacEachern.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home, with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, and for one hour prior to service time Wednesday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice or the Cedar Bend Humane Society. Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com .
