Anna Marie Gage, 85, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. She was born August 21, 1922 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the daughter of George and Anna M. (King) Stephens. Anna Marie married Jason D.D. Gage on August 19, 1944 in Waterloo, Iowa. During World War II, she worked at Chamberlains in Waterloo and then was a cook at Sartori Memorial Hospital for several years.
Anna Marie is survived by her husband, Jason, of Cedar Falls; three sons, Melvin (Sue) Gage of Waterloo, Roger (Rebecca) Gage of Lawler, Iowa and Ronald (Mindy) Gage of Waterloo; six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and two sisters, Lila (Ralph) Duahr of Fairbank, Iowa and Edith Belfour of Palm Springs, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Jason Gage, and three brothers, Emmett, Ray and Earl Stephens.

Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Tuesday, June 17, 2008, at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home in Cedar Falls, with interment at Garden of Memories in Waterloo. Visitation will be 4—7:00 pm Monday, and one hour before service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
