ANN N. (Dockwell) BOEHMKE, was born October 1, 1912 in Stout, Iowa the daughter of Nick and Elsie (Petersen) Dockwell. She married Clifford Willson June 29, 1935 and he died in 1943. She married Robert Reed February 1, 1947 in Waterloo and Robert died February 15, 1974. She married Lynold Boehmke December 29, 1977 in Waterloo. Ann was past Secretary and Treasurer of the Cedar Valley Polka Club. She died Friday, July 5, 2002 at the Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center of the Western Home Communities at the age of 89 years.
Survivors include her husband, Lynold of Cedar Falls, one daughter, Marjorie (Duane) Getty of Richardson, Texas; one stepson, Duane (Sylvia) Boehmke of Denver, Iowa; three grandchildren, Diane Stone, Kristine Getty, and Janet Monk; six great grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren, and two sisters, Emma Jensen of Cedar Falls and Betty Bergmann of Clinton, Iowa.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two stepsons, Fred & Ray Boehmke, and four step sisters, Ethel Nelson, Helen Uschkrat, Vendla Webrand, and Laura Bode.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Waterloo with burial in Riverside Cemetery in Shell Rock. Memorials may be directed to the church, the American Cancer Society, or the Alzheimer's Association.
