Alyssa Marie Gallaher

Alyssa Marie Gallaher, 14, of Cedar Falls, died Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born March 23, 1998 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Todd Lyle and Deanna Marie (Ries) Gallaher. Alyssa was a student at St. Patrick School in Cedar Falls. Survivors include her parents, Todd Gallaher of Belmont, North Carolina and Dee Gallaher of Cedar Falls; two brothers, Matthew and Geoff Gallaher, both of Ames, Iowa; a sister, Hannah Gallaher, of Belmont, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, David (Kathy) Gallaher of Joyce, Iowa and Joan Gallaher of Clear Lake, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Ken and Delores Ries, of Ames, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 1:30 pm Friday, October 26, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to the family. Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is assisting the family.
