Alva A Schwarzenbach

Alva is survived by two sons, Everett (Patricia) Schwarzenbach of Egg Harbor, New Jersey and Dan Schwarzenbach of Bristol, Connecticut; one daughter, Pauline (Keith) Branstetter of Sanibel Island, Florida; one daughter in law, Arlene Schwarzenbach of Cedar Falls, Iowa; twelve grandchildren, Jason (Dana) Schwarzenbach, Heather Schwarzenbach, Stefanie Schwarzenbach, Toni Schwarzenbach, Geoffrey Schwarzenbach, Jessica Branstetter, Kassidy Branstetter, Jamie (Laura) Kain, Brad (Penny) Kain, Matt (Diana) Kain, Tami (Ed) Powers, and Todd (Jen) Schwarzenbach; nine great grandchildren, Drew, Lars and Maddi Kain, Lily and Gabe Kain, Jeff and Michael Hanson, Abbey and Ella Schwarzenbach; one brother, Harlan Puck of Lake Park, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Lyle Schwarzenbach, her daughter Paula Kain; three sisters, Erma Bush, Laura Mae Rients and her twin sister, Alta Hansen.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at the Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Fairview Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be one hour before service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial may be directed to the National Patient Advocacy Foundation.
