Alma Dee Heath

Alma Dee Heath, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Western Home Communities Nation Cottage. She was born October 31, 1936 on a farm near Bristow, Iowa, the daughter of Hollis & DeAlda (Manifold) Overturf. She graduated from Malcolm Price Laboratory School. On December 22, 1956 she married Philip Heath in Cedar Falls. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Phil Heath of Cedar Falls; three sons, Shawn (Merri) Heath and Kevin Heath, both of Waterloo, Brett (Jackie) Heath of Cedar Falls; one daughter, Stacy (Sean Redmond) Heath of Waterloo; six grandchildren, Chad, Sam, Mandy, Baylee, Brady and Dantre; and two great grandchildren.

Alma was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Fredsville Lutheran Church with burial at Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church. Memorials may be directed to Fredsville Lutheran Church Building Fund, Western Home Communities Chapel Fund or Nation Cottage, UnityPoint-Allen Hospice or the family.
