Alice L. Tupy 93, died Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at the Western Home Communities, Elizabeth E. Martin Health Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She was born April 20, 1913 at Oelwein, Iowa the daughter of William and Sarah (DeLuhery) Stephens. She married Charles Tupy January 22, 1947 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Des Moines, Iowa. He died June 28, 1998. Alice worked as a teller in Des Moines, Iowa for Bankers Trust from 1931– 1972. She moved to Cedar Falls in 2004.
Alice is survived by one great nephew, Steven (Cindy) Corwin of Cedar Falls, Iowa and several great nephews and great nieces from her husband (Charles) side of the family.

She was preceded in death her parents, husband, two brothers, James and John Stephens and one sister Dolores Corwin.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday, August 18, 2006 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home with burial in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, Iowa. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
