Alice Mae Harder

Alice Harder, 87, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Western Home Communities Elizabeth Martin Health Center. She was born June 28, 1928 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Roy and Marie (Johnson) Wyatt. Alice married Bill Harder on October 7, 1949 at the Cedar Falls Woman's Club. He preceded her in death on January 27, 2013. Alice graduated from Hudson High School and sold fabric and sewing machines for many years and spent a number of years working for a printing company.

She is survived by her son, Ross Harder, of Hudson; a granddaughter, Heather (Gabe) Wyckoff, of Cedar Falls; two great grandsons, Brady and Nathan Wyckoff, and a sister, Marj Culver, of Manly, Iowa.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bill; a granddaughter, April Harder; a brother, Robert Wyatt; a sister, Dorthea Baskins, and her daughter-in-law, Vicky Harder.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Hudson Community Church, with inurnment at Hudson Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be 4—6:00 p.m. Friday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family.   Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
