Alice Baldwin

Alice F. Baldwin, 91, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Sartori Memorial Hospital.  Alice was born July 22, 1926 in Cedar Falls, the daughter of Howard & Bess (Larkin) Wright.  She graduated from Janesville High School.  Alice married Irvin Baldwin June 13, 1953 in Charles City.  He preceded her in death June 5, 2015.  She was employed as a meat wrapper with Supervalu Grocery for 17 years and was a hostess at McDonald's for 7 years, retiring in 2003.

Survivors include her two sons, Bob (Lisa) Baldwin of Des Moines and Alan (Vicki) Baldwin of Cedar Falls; seven grandchildren, Eric (Brandi) Baldwin of Des Moines, Jered (Jessica) Baldwin of Cedar Falls, Bess Baldwin of Cedar Falls, Andrea Crippen of Cedar Falls, Cindy (Tim) Stine of Waterloo, Leslie Sphar of Des Moines and Lance Richardson of Ankeny; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Helen Olejniczak of Charles City, and a special nephew, Tom (Marla) Green of New Hampton.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents and husband; four brothers, Clare, Gail, Joe and Robert in infancy; and two sisters, Jean Green and Ruth Brown.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Cedar Falls with burial at Calvary Cemetery in Charles City at a later date.  Visitation will be from 2 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time at the church.  A memorial fund will be established.  Condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
