Alfred Vogel Wood

Alfred Vogel Wood, 73, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at his home on Sunday, December 1, 2019. He was born December 23, 1945 in Tampa, Florida, the son of Charles and Vivian (Vogel) Wood. Alfred served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He earned his BA in Engineering from the University of Minnesota and his MA in Mathematics from the University of Illinois. Alfred was an engineer at John Deere & Company for 35 years, retiring in 2014.

He is survived by his two sons, David Wood of Des Moines, Iowa and Paul Wood of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Alfred was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Wood.
