Alex James Mcbride

Alex James McBride, 39, Cedar Falls, died Saturday, August 31, 2024.

Alex was born June 29, 1985 in Cedar Falls to Jim and Sandra (Hundley) McBride.  He is a 2003 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and 2007 graduate of Hawkeye Community College.  He worked for Iowa Plains Signing, Inc.

Alex is survived by his children, Hunter and Ava; parents, Jim and Sandra McBride; half-sister, Heather Mullinex; and ex-wife, Emily Schlader.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents; uncles, Dick McBride and Kevin McBride, and aunt, Dawn McBride.

There will be a visitation for Alex from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home.  Everyone is welcome and encouraged to dress casually.
