Agnes L Cashen

Agnes L. Cashen, 100, of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at ManorCare Health Services.  She was born September 10, 1910 in Culbertson, Nebraska, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Cavanaugh) Cashen.  They moved to Lamont, Iowa where Agnes graduated from Lamont Consolidated High School in 1927.  Agnes worked for C. M. Berkley Hardware in the 1930's and continued working in contract hardware until the 1990's.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, James, Raymond, Donald and Clifford Cashen.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at St. John Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with burial at Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be for one hour prior to service time at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Church or the Cedar Falls Bible Conference.  Dahl-Van Hove-Schoof Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be left at www.DahlFuneralHome.com.
