ADOLPH PEDERSEN
was born April 1, 1913 at Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Knude Christian and Laurine (Lassen) Pedersen. He married Leona B. Lechner on October 26, 1962 at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Adolph farmed and worked for Viking Pump in Cedar Falls and retired from Universal Industries in 1974. He joined God in heaven peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, February 12, 2005, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, at the age of 91 years.
Adolph is survived by his wife, Leona, of Waterloo, Iowa; one son, Norman Pedersen of Rogers, Arkansas and one daughter, Mary Kay Burgess, of Coggon, Iowa; one step-son, Dan Holtz, of Cherokee, Iowa; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; and two sisters, Christa Madsen of Waterloo, Iowa and Doris Stilwell of Cedar Falls, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Victor and Karl Pedersen, and one sister Elna Pedersen.
Funeral services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2005, at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Cedar Falls, with interment at Hillcrest Cemetery in rural Cedar Falls. Memorials may be directed to Christian Crusaders.
